Topping-Out Ceremony for MAXXHeim in Mannheim
09/26/2025 – On 24 September, together with the project and construction company Dreßler Bau, the City of Mannheim, the architecture firm Eike Becker_Architekten, as well as partners and guests, we celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the new MAXXHeim office building at Mannheim’s Eastsite. The ICS Group will move into the new building as an anchor tenant from around summer 2026.
The completed MAXXHeim will be a flagship project on the Eastsite campus and beyond: highlights include the building’s unique shape and design, along with state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly building technology – meeting the highest sustainability standards and IT infrastructure guidelines.
For Mannheim and the ICS Group alike, the new build is a powerful boost, creating space for innovation, networking, and modern work – right in the Rhine-Main-Neckar IT cluster, “Europe’s Silicon Valley.”
As Mannheim’s Lord Mayor Christian Specht explained in his topping-out speech: “The construction of the ‘MAXXHeim’ office building is a strong signal for the future of Mannheim as a business location. The ICS Group’s move to Eastsite shows how attractive our city is for innovative companies. Here, not only are modern workplaces being created, but also a sustainable place that sets architectural standards.”
We look forward to moving into our office space next year. Our sincere thanks go to Dreßler Bau for organizing an excellent topping-out ceremony – which, at short notice, even stood up to heavy rain – and to all speakers for their personal words and tributes.
Review: ICS Group at LogiMAT 2025
03/18/2025 – From March 11 to 13, 2025, the ICS Group exhibited at LogiMAT. As the leading trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management in Central Europe, the event once again attracted more than 65,000 trade visitors across 10 exhibition halls, according to the organizers.
This year, our trade fair presence focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for fully automated logistics processes, featuring the warehouse management system Stradivari - with a particular emphasis on use cases for AI-powered image data analysis through computer vision. Additionally, we impressed visitors with innovative hardware technologies, robotics, and comprehensive end-device and WiFi management.

10/01/2024 - Scalable IT solutions for greater process security and efficiency at ZF Group: The leading technology company successfully optimized its mobile device management environment with ICS Group. Company Christmas Donation: Support for the Ivory Coast
12/19/2022 - Perhaps this year highlights how much we can appreciate "our ordinary". Therefore, it is especially close to our hearts to give something back by foregoing the usual Christmas presents and cards. Thus, with a monetary donation to Ärzte ohne Grenzen e.V., we are supporting the important work of the international network in the field of medical aid for millions of suffering people in areas that are, for instance, scarred by conflicts or natural disasters.
Our donation of 1,000,000 CFA francs is specifically designated for the use in the health care system of the African Republic of Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) - a country to which we have a very special connection due to our own pioneering healthcare project.

04/25/2022 - For the ICS Group, research and innovation are important parts of our DNA and our corporate policy. Our cooperation with the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) and the Innovation Campus meBEST are just two examples of our active promotion of innovation through research.
We are very proud that our intensive work in this field was recognized by the Stifterverband, one of the largest private science sponsors in Germany, and that we received the "Innovative through Research" seal in 2022.
The core topics of the Stifterverband are education, science and innovation. Founded in 1920, the organization brings together companies and foundations that work together to create a sustainable society worth living in. With the "Innovative through Research" seal, the Stifterverband honors research-based companies for the special responsibility they assume for the state and society.
