PERI
Smart Process Digitalization in
International Warehouse Management
Our Customer
PERI SE is a globally leading, family-owned company in the field of formwork and scaffolding technology, specializing in the production, sale, and rental of these systems. As a pioneer in the industry, the name PERI stands for decades of international experience, global expertise, and the continuous development of innovative products and services.
Progress, competitive edge, and sustainability are key success factors at PERI, currently reflected in a wide range of engineering services, digital solutions, and 3D concrete printing. With approximately 9,200 employees, PERI operates numerous subsidiaries, warehouses, and rental parks worldwide, generating over €1.8 billion in revenue.
The Challenge
Before the digitalization and optimization of warehouse management, the recording of loading orders and returns from the rental business at PERI’s international logistics hubs was based on analog, manual processes. However, due to continuous growth, these paper-based workflows became increasingly challenging: delays in order processing, a rise in manual errors, and decreasing transparency were the result.
The core requirement was to digitize the picking and return processes, while meeting strict time constraints and ensuring on-time delivery of rental systems. Additionally, PERI needed an international solution that could be seamlessly integrated into the existing IT landscape.
Project Challenges
- Complete digitalization of picking and return processes across global warehouse locations
- International standardization and harmonization of processes
The Solution
With the implementation of the smart logistics platform Stradivari® by ICS, all picking and return processes were gradually digitalized and extended to include quality checks. The platform enables seamless (photo) documentation of every process step, especially the loading procedures.
In addition, Stradivari® supports the precise tracking and identification of handling units and goods, as well as the fully digital processing of returns.
By seamlessly connecting to PERI’s central ERP system and integrating Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and visualization, the solution ensures high process transparency and efficiency.
Although PERI uses SAP S/4HANA®, the decision was made in favor of Stradivari® to build a digital warehouse quickly, cost-effectively, and based on modern and flexible architecture.
A further highlight of the solution is its multilingual, intuitive user interface, which supports international operations at over 50 locations worldwide. In addition to the software, ICS also integrated new mobile hardware for barcode scanning, secure data capture, and paperless real-time processing, significantly simplifying warehouse workflows.
Solution
- Implementation of the Stradivari® platform with integrated quality checks and ERP connectivity, including real-time reporting
- Intuitive, multilingual user interface for easy operation

The Result
PERI now benefits from a fully digital, cross-location logistics solution that ensures increased productivity, transparency, and long-term optimization of operational costs.
Picking and return processes have been significantly accelerated, errors reduced, and compliance with defined time windows ensured.
Furthermore, the cloud-based deployment of Stradivari® provides a future-proof foundation for continued scalability – offering a cost-effective alternative to a SAP®-based solution.
