Regular exhibitor ICS Group will be staging its LogiMAT event for customers and interested parties online in interactive and personal dialogue.

Kelsterbach, 5 March 2020: The official request made yesterday and the subsequent cancellation of this year's LogiMAT, which was to have taken place in Stuttgart from 10 to 12 March 2020, was, in the view of the ICS Group (ICS), an absolutely correct decision in view of the risk of Covid-19 infection.

ICS, as the leading supply chain specialist for digital processes and individual managed IT services, had already acted before the official cancellation in the last few days and had intensively prepared various measures and scenarios for the protection of employees, customers and partners in the LogiMAT environment. In the last few days ICS customers were offered alternatives to visiting the exhibition booth.

Customers and interested parties are now invited to experience the top innovations and portfolio extensions that ICS would have presented at this year's international trade fair for intralogistics and process management in alternative live event formats. The smart solution program can be experienced online in interactive web sessions and live demonstrations and, if desired, also in a personal consultation at the customer's premises.

In the software area, for example, immediately usable apps for documenting goods movements in the warehouse and in retail, operation- and energy-efficient real-time location systems, intelligent warehouse management software and mobile applications for sustainable processes in transport and reverse logistics will be presented. Following on seamlessly, ICS will also be presenting the latest Android, mobile computing, network and industrial print technologies as well as comprehensive Enterprise Mobility Management "out of the box", which ensures the simplest IT integration and rapid optimization of total cost of ownership (TCO).

"The demand for pragmatic and highly scalable process optimization, especially in logistics, is needed across companies in order to position themselves for the future. The current exceptional situation of the coronavirus pandemic shows the existential importance of digital collaboration and remote services in companies today. Logistics managers, for example, can monitor their flow of goods from anywhere, intervene in real time and prioritize," explains Hans-Jörg Tittlbach, CEO of the ICS Group.
