ICS Group wins the Telematics Award 2018
The ICS Group (ICS) was awarded the Telematik Award 2018 in the category warehouse logistics on September 22nd, 2018.
For the third time in a row, ICS is one of the lucky winners to receive the coveted Telematik Award for its development achievements in the fields of "Transport and Logistics" and "Human Telematics".
The top award of the telematics industry, which is well known throughout the industry and has been firmly established since 2010, was presented this year by VDA Managing Director Dr. Scheel, Nds. State Secretary Dr. Berend Lindner and the organiser, Mediengruppe Telematik-Markt.de, at the festive awards ceremony on 22 September 2018 at the IAA Commercial Vehicles in Hanover.
The ICS Group won the Award 2018 for its innovative real-time transport control system "ICS eTLS®" and successfully prevailed in the field of over 270 submitted solutions. This year there are a total of 13 lucky winners in eleven categories, for which two special prizes were awarded.
The ICS Group can count itself among the innovation pioneers, not least because of the award. ICS supports customers in medium-sized businesses and corporate groups across industries in their digital transformation through individual digitization consulting and sustainable digitization solutions - from robotics to supply chain software, IoT platforms and technologies to managed IT services.

Telematics Talk on the topic of AI
This year's panel discussion "Telematics Talk" within the scope of the event was dedicated to the topic "AI, Blockchain and autonomous driving - How far are the trend technologies for transport and logistics? - three technologies that are considered by many to be the most exciting trends in digitalization.
Dr. Berend Lindner (Lower Saxony State Secretary), Dr. Kurt-Christian Scheel (VDA Managing Director), Janine Härtel (IOTA Foundation) as well as José da Silva (ICS Group) were on stage for a lively exchange. The round was moderated by Peter Klischwesky (Chief Editor Telematikmarkt).
